Mookie Betts

Mookie Betts has 18 home runs, midway through the season and is one of four Red Sox starters in Tuesday’s All-Star Game in San Diego.

The Red Sox are 3 games from the All-Star break, and after half a season I’m not sure we know anymore about this team than we did in Spring Training. We got to this point in a bit of a different way than we thought we would: Wright not Price has led the staff. The offense has been one of the best in team history and the back end of the bullpen has been a roller coaster of 1986 proportions. The bright spots have been exceptionally bright and next week at the All-Star Game in San Diego those bright spots will be center stage: David Ortiz and the Killer B’s.

The only consistent of this team is that they haven’t been boring since the trucks left Boston for Fort Myers. Joining Jim Churchill, Jeff Solari and Aaron Jackson to discuss this team, it’s voice of reason, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com. Find out his thoughts on John Farrell and which way is his favorite to cover the Red Sox: print or radio broadcasts with Joe Castiglione?
