The Drive AUDIO: Lee Goldberg Newscenter 6

Moncada

Yoan Moncada made his debut with Portland on June 21, in 13 games with the Sea Dogs he has 16 hits, 3 of which are home runs.

The Fourth of July is about fireworks and the Red Sox and Celtics provided plenty this weekend. The Red Sox gave up 21 runs and looked like the hot dog that falls through the grate on your grill and gets charred in the flames. Then, almost miraculously they scored 22 runs and won their next two games.

The Celtics were their own melodrama all weekend. First it was the promise of the sit down with Kevin Durant and then expectations left the charts when Al Horford agreed to sign with the Green and Tom Brady was at the meeting in the Hamptons. Twitter was constantly being refreshed, family members were ignored until Durant announced he was joining the 73-win Golden State Warriors. To recap this wild weekend, Lee Goldberg of WCSH 6 joined Jim Churchill, Aaron Jackson and guest host Pete Warner of the Bangor Daily News. They’ll even touch on the Boston Bruins off season!
