The Drive AUDIO: Bob Socci Patriots Broadcaster 5/25/2016

Abiola Aborishade

Former UMass Dartmouth Wide Receiver Abiola Aborishade has been standing outside of Gillette Stadium on Route 1 in Foxborough almost every day since April 21 in hopes of getting a try out with the Patriots.

The New England Patriots truly have no off season. Sure there is time for Gronk to jet ski, hit night clubs, pose for covers of everything from GQ to video games to cereal boxes, but there is no down time as far as following the team goes. On what was essentially a quiet day as far as the Patriots went, Wednesday got more interesting when word came down that the Patriots have filed an amicus brief in support of Tom Brady and the NFLPA in their action against the NFL’s suspension of Tom Brady. This is the first action the organization has taken against the league and for that reason alone this is an interesting move.

Voice of the Patriots, Bob Socci joined Aaron Jackson and Sterling Pingree on Wednesday to talk about the red hot Red Sox,the chances of Abiola Aborishade getting a try out with the Pats and an update on the toll that Deflategate has taken on his broadcast partner Scott Zolak.
