The Boston Bruins announced that they are bringing back coach Claude Julien, some like the decision more than others.

Sometimes a coach’s voice can fall on deaf ears. Sometimes a voice that resonated with a team and inspired them for a championship can become something that can be tuned out. Its happened to some of the best coaches in sports; Terry Francona won two World Series, but when “chicken and beer” became a mid-game snack for the pitching staff, it was unfortunately the end for Tito. The catch all phrase for this phenomena is “He’s lost the locker room”, and that’s always an accepted reason. Nobody argues with “He’s lost the locker room”. The debate now rages as to if Stanley Cup winning coach Claude Julien of the Boston Bruins has lost the Bruins locker room. It seems like the vocal minority are those who say he shouldn’t be brought back as Bruins coach, but the majority of Bruins fans think that he should be retained. DJ Bean of WEEI.com joined us on Friday to discuss the Bruins decision to bring Coach Julien back after missing the playoffs for the second straight season.
